Windows XP & Microsoft Office 2003 Support Ending!

Support for Windows XP is ending on April 8, 2014

What does this mean for users?
It means you should take action.
After April 8, 2014, there will be no new security updates, non-security hotfixes, free or paid assisted support options or online technical content updates.
Running Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 in your environment after their end of support date may expose your company or personal files to potential risks, such as:

Security & Compliance Risks:
Unsupported and unpatched environments are vulnerable to security risks. This may result in your operating system becoming unusable or potentially threatened by 3rd parties.

Lack of Independent Software Vendor (ISV) & Hardware Manufacturers support:
Many independent software vendors (ISVs) are unlikely to support new versions of applications on Windows XP and most PC hardware manufacturers will stop supporting Windows XP on the majority of their new PC models.
This basically means that new software created by companies to work with PC's such as Security software or the software that comes with a new printer or a brand new PC game will probably not work with Windows XP if created after the 8th April 2014.

What to do?
Get current with Windows and Office. Microsofts most current operating system is Windows 8.1 which can be found on all new PC's and Laptops. For those of you that have perhaps heard bad reviews or that it 'is very different' you do currently still have the option of using Windows 7 which is far similar to Windows XP than Windows 8.1.

Ask us about our custom built PC's loaded with Windows 7!! Get them whilst it is still avaliable!!
